Welcome to D & D Designs Unlimited. By visiting our website, placing an order, submitting custom details, approving a design, or completing payment, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

1. Business Information

D & D Designs Unlimited provides custom decorated apparel, accessories, and gift items. Our services may include embroidery, appliqué embroidery, DTF transfers, HTV, and other decoration methods depending on the product selected.

Because many of our items are handmade, made-to-order, personalized, or custom-decorated, each order may have slight variations. These variations are part of the custom production process and do not qualify as defects.

2. Product Descriptions and Photos

We make every effort to display product photos, descriptions, colors, sizing, and details as accurately as possible. However, colors may appear differently depending on screen settings, lighting, garment dye lots, supplier availability, and photography conditions.

Mockups are used to help customers visualize the final product. Actual design size, placement, garment texture, thread appearance, appliqué pattern placement, and color tone may vary slightly on the finished item.

3. Custom and Personalized Orders

Custom and personalized items are made specifically for each customer. This may include names, dates, logos, monograms, business branding, specialty designs, custom colors, garment choices, or other requested details.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information at the time of order, including spelling, dates, names, sizing, color selections, placement requests, and design instructions. D & D Designs Unlimited is not responsible for errors submitted by the customer.

Once production has started, custom and personalized orders cannot be canceled, refunded, exchanged, or changed.

4. Design Approval

For orders that require approval, customers are responsible for reviewing all details before approving production. This includes spelling, layout, size, thread colors, design colors, garment color, placement, and overall appearance.

Approval confirms that the customer accepts the design as shown and authorizes D & D Designs Unlimited to begin production. Once approved and production begins, changes may not be possible and may result in additional fees.

5. Embroidery, Appliqué, and Handmade Variation

Embroidery and appliqué are handmade decoration processes. Slight variations in placement, stitch appearance, fabric texture, thread tension, appliqué fabric pattern, and design alignment may occur.

For appliqué items, fabric pattern placement may vary from item to item. No two appliqué pieces are guaranteed to look exactly the same.

For embroidery items, slight puckering, fabric movement, backing texture, stabilizer visibility, or minor placement variation may occur depending on the garment material, design density, and stitching process. These are normal characteristics of decorated garments and are not considered defects.

6. Customer-Provided Garments or Items

When customers provide their own garments or items for decoration, they understand that embroidery, appliqué, heat pressing, hooping, stitching, and other production methods involve risk.

D & D Designs Unlimited will handle customer-provided items with care. However, we are not responsible for manufacturer defects, sizing issues, fabric quality, dye issues, shrinkage, stretching, heat sensitivity, seam construction, or how the item reacts during the decoration process.

Replacement of customer-provided garments is not included unless damage is determined to be caused directly by a production error by D & D Designs Unlimited. Customers are encouraged to provide extra garments when possible, especially for bulk, rush, or specialty orders.

7. Logos, Trademarks, and Submitted Artwork

Customers who submit logos, artwork, images, slogans, phrases, or designs confirm that they own the rights to use the submitted materials or have permission to use them.

D & D Designs Unlimited is not responsible for trademark, copyright, licensing, or intellectual property claims related to customer-submitted artwork or requested designs.

We reserve the right to refuse any design request that appears to violate copyright, trademark, licensing rights, platform rules, or our business standards.

8. Production Time

Production times vary depending on the item, order size, design complexity, supplier availability, and current workload. Estimated turnaround times are not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.

Production time begins after all required information is received, payment is completed, and any required design approval has been confirmed.

Rush orders may be accepted at our discretion and may include an additional rush fee. Rush fees are non-refundable once the order has been accepted and production has started.

9. Payment

Payment is required before production begins unless otherwise agreed in writing. Orders are not considered confirmed until payment has been received.

For invoices, payment is due by the date listed on the invoice. Completed orders may be held until payment has been made in full.

By completing payment, the customer confirms that the order details are correct and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

10. Cancellations

Orders may only be canceled before production begins. Once materials have been ordered, artwork has been prepared, digitizing has been completed, or production has started, the order may no longer be eligible for cancellation.

Any approved cancellation may be subject to deductions for design work, digitizing, materials, supplier costs, processing fees, or other work already completed.

11. Returns, Refunds, and Order Issues

Returns, refunds, cancellations, exchanges, and order issue requests are handled according to our separate Returns and Refunds Policy.

Because many of our items are custom, personalized, handmade, embroidered, appliqué, DTF, HTV, or made-to-order, customers should review all product details, sizing, personalization, colors, and order information carefully before completing checkout.

By placing an order, customer agrees to follow the terms listed in our Returns and Refunds Policy.

12. Sizing

Customers are responsible for reviewing size charts before ordering. Sizing may vary by brand, style, garment type, and manufacturer. D & D Designs Unlimited is not responsible for incorrect size selection.

For the best fit, customers should compare the size chart to a similar garment they already own.

13. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping timelines are separate from production timelines. Once an order has been released to the shipping carrier, D & D Designs Unlimited is not responsible for carrier delays, lost packages, stolen packages, incorrect addresses entered by the customer, or delivery delays caused by weather, holidays, or other carrier-related issues.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

14. Local Pickup or Delivery

For local pickup or delivery orders, customers are responsible for reviewing the order upon receipt. Once the order has been accepted, used, worn, washed, gifted, or distributed, it may no longer be eligible for correction unless there is a confirmed production error.

15. Care Instructions

Customers are responsible for following all care instructions provided with the item or listed in the product description. Damage caused by improper washing, drying, ironing, bleaching, dry cleaning, excessive heat, or failure to follow care instructions is not considered a production defect.

16. Right to Refuse Service

D & D Designs Unlimited reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order that includes offensive content, prohibited designs, intellectual property concerns, unrealistic deadlines, abusive communication, unpaid balances, or requests outside the scope of our services.

17. Limitation of Liability

D & D Designs Unlimited is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages related to the purchase, use, delay, or inability to use our products or services.

Our maximum liability for any order shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific item or service in question.

18. Updates to These Terms

D & D Designs Unlimited may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version posted on our website at the time of purchase will apply to that order.
